It is suitable for a variety of activities and incorporates a kitchen, with crockery, a stage, lighting and sound system and has a capacity of 150 to 200.

The Hall is currently used by clubs, for public meetings , for dancing classes, discos and also by the teachers and pupils of Tarves Primary School. Whilst not quite on the scale of the "Parthenon", the Hall has been refurbished and provides a pleasant atmosphere for all who use it. A recent refit of the kitchen in 2013 offers up to date facilities for catering.
