New music download service from Aberdeenshire Council
Aberdeenshire Libraries now provides a free new music download service, Freegal.
Join the “download” generation and begin to enjoy digital music on your tablet device, PC, MAC or MP3 player; all free of charge.
The new service allows you to download 3 music tracks a week or 1 video and keep them in your collection forever! You can also stream three hours of music a day, for no cost at all!!
All you need is a library membership and pin number to get access to over 8 million songs from over 28,000 labels including the Sony Music catalogue.
Seasonal waste recycling
Aberdeenshire Council’s household waste recycling sites are open on altered hours over the holiday season.
In particular, as glass is no longer collected kerbside, please recycle your glass and do not put bottles and jars in the residual waste bin. Please take them to local bottle bins or thee household waste sites. If in doubt about what can be recycled and where – please just call the wasteline on 0845 600 3 900
