Bingo Fun at Barthol
A community that plays together… well the playing was certainly good fun for the residents of Barthol Chapel near Tarves. The Community association organised a ‘Jings bingo night’ on 8th February
A full hall at the school saw the crowd play for donated local prizes. After an hilarious false start… only 75 balls in the bingo for a card of 90… it was clear some had never played before. But it got going well with lots of ‘sweats’ for the punters.
Catering included superb soups and breads and a sweet included in the ticket price.
The Barthol Chapel Community Association thanked the sponsors, including Watsons of Inverurie, Formartines, Serenity of Oldmeldrum, Ythanview Hotel, Norevite, Meldrum House Hotel, Lochter Fishery, Glen Garioch Distillery and Tiger Lily Restaurant of Oldmeldrum, The National Trust for Scotland, Rainbow Fabrics and more…
