Want to learn more to help the “Big Butterfly Count ” ? – join us on our weekly walk – Tuesday 9th August.

Haddo-butterflyButterfly Conservation’s Big Butterfly Count runs until Sun 9 Aug.

It takes just 15 minutes to record your sightings, and you can do the count anywhere from your back garden to here at Haddo.

As You Like It follows its heroine Rosalind as she flees persecution in her uncle’s court, accompanied by her cousin Celia to find safety and, eventually, love, in the Forest of Arden. In the forest, they encounter a variety of memorable characters, notably the melancholy traveller Jaques who speaks many of Shakespeare’s most famous speeches (such as “All the world’s a stage” and “A fool! A fool! I met a fool in the forest”)
The Bard’s wonderful pastoral comedy full of love, laughter, and lyricism, and performed by this talented all-male company.

As part of the Aberdeen International youth festival, Tarves annually hosts a concert and this year the Heritage Society are hosting a visit from The National Youth Choir of Scotland.  Tickets available from Duthies shop, Tarves heritage centre or project committee members.
