Want to learn more to help the “Big Butterfly Count ” ? – join us on our weekly walk – Tuesday 9th August.

Haddo-butterflyButterfly Conservation’s Big Butterfly Count runs until Sun 9 Aug.

It takes just 15 minutes to record your sightings, and you can do the count anywhere from your back garden to here at Haddo.

In the forest, they encounter a variety of memorable characters, notably the melancholy traveller Jaques who speaks many of Shakespeare’s most famous speeches (such as “All the world’s a stage” and “A fool! A fool! I met a fool in the forest”)
The Bard’s wonderful pastoral comedy full of love, laughter, and lyricism, and performed by this talented all-male company.

TARVES CONCERT – NATIONAL YOUTH CHOIR OF SCOTLAND 28th JULY 2015

As part of the Aberdeen International youth festival, Tarves annually hosts a concert and this year the Heritage Society are hosting a visit from The National Youth Choir of Scotland.  Tickets available from Duthies shop, Tarves heritage centre or project committee members.
