Police are anxiously trying to trace a north-east woman who was reported missing from her home last night.
Margaret Lancaster failed to return to her Tarves home yesterday evening.
The 52-year-old was last seen in the area by a family member at about 11am yesterday morning. Police have described her disappearance as “completely out of character”, and they are particularly concerned for her welfare given the current weather conditions outside.
