Christmas Lights Thanks 2014
We are so grateful to the team of volunteers who worked so hard over the last few weekends to put up the Tarves Christmas lights! Many thanks to Ian Massie, along with Derek, Gordon, Alistair, Gordon, Sandy, John, Bob, Mike, Doreen and Ann!! Apologies if we’ve missed anybody!
Thanks also to the shop and the Aberdeen Arms for refreshments.
There is a Christmas Lights collection box at the till in the shop and in the Arms, please give generously..
Become a Friend of the Garden
There is an invite to all local people who want to help Pitmedden Garden, love gardens and want to know more, learn and help in the process. Pitmedden Garden is renowned over the UK and many friends internationally. Come along and hear about the past present and future of the Gardens with Jim McColl of the BBC’s Beechgrove Garden.

A Seasonal Haddo House & Country Park 2014
It’s a month of festive singing and outdoor exploration at Haddo this December…
We’ve already had a few Christmas events at Haddo, but we’re all about the festive season this month with carol concerts from the NTS, HHCOS and Haddo Voices filling the calendar.
We’re also starting a series of movie screenings, including special mother and toddler mornings every Wednesday.
If you’re keen to get outdoors this December, why not try our winter bushcraft course or just come for a quiet wander in the park- perfect for working off the Christmas dinner!

Haddo Country Park will be open as usual throughout the Christmas period, including Christmas and New Year’s Day and other Bank Holidays.

Carols at Haddo
Throughout December
Celebrate Christmas this December with a series of carol concerts at Haddo. On Sun 7th the NTS Members Group hold their annual Carols for Christmas. On Sun14th and Sat 20th HHCOS and Haddo Voices will be performing two carol concerts each day. Sure to get you in the festive spirit!

GAULD (formerly of Craigdam, Tarves)Peacefully at Turriff Cottage Hospital, on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, John, aged 81 years. Beloved husband of the late Myfanwy. Son of the late Peggy Rennie. A dear brother, uncle and cousin. Funeral service in Tarves Parish Church, on Wednesday, December 3, at 11 a.m., to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, thereafter to Tarves Cemetery. Family flowers only.
