To cover maternity leave from mid February 2015
Term Time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 1pm
Pay negotiable

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person who would be responsible for the daily running of the Playgroup, managing a small team and working directly with the children to support the provision of pre-school care and education, including outdoor education, to children aged 2 to 5 years.

Applicants should be registered or eligible to register as a manager with the Scottish Social Services Council, the professional register for early education and childcare workers.

This post is regulated work with children and is subject to the provisions of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants must be or agree to become members of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme.

This post is subject to checks by Disclosure Scotland and all applicants will be asked to disclose information about any offences committed and/or convictions held or other circumstances that could prevent them from taking up a position in childcare.
