Showstoppers Holiday Club 2018 – THIS WEEK 13 -17 Aug

It’s almost time for Showstoppers!
It’s hard to believe the last week of the holidays is upon us but there’s lots of fun to be had every morning next week. Book your child into the Showstoppers Holiday Club. It will be full of games, crafts, drama, music and videos.
It runs in Tarves Youth Hall and is open to all children from P1 to P7, including children just about to start P1. The cost is just £1 per day per child.

Family Fun Day at Haddo – 12th August

On 12th of August the National Trust for Scotland will be holding a family fun day at Haddo. There will be lots of activities for the whole family, which include: live wrestling, stalls, inflatables, crafts, music, bird show, pets’ corner and child friendly tours. The cost of the event is £5 per child, which will allow unlimited access to all activities. Come along and enjoy a day of fun in the surroundings of a stunning, historic mansion.

Simple steps customers can take to use water efficiently include:

Using a bucket of water instead of a hose to wash your car or only washing windscreens and headlights and brake lights

  • Using a watering can instead of a hose to water gardens and plants
  • Taking a shower instead of a bath and making it a short shower
  • Only using washing machines or dishwashers fully loaded
  • Turning off the tap when brushing teeth and shaving
