Peter ALLAN (Oldmeldrum), has died sSuddenly but peacefully at ARI on Monday January 18, 2016. Peter aged 85 years. was the beloved husband of the late Jean. Dear dad of John, Gordon, Dites, Lorna, Peter and Sandra. A loving granda, great granda and brother. The funeral service was in Tarves Parish Church on Friday January 22 at 11am and the interment thereafter in Tarves Cemetery. All family and friends were respectfully invitedand donations accepted for Tarves Parish Church.
Following an inspection this afternoon and some subsequent ice removal, the B999 is now fully open between Tarves and Pitmedden.
The road is still icy, however, please drive with care.
Classes in the Pitmedden School tonight starting with…Line Dancing at 6pm + Zumba at 7pm + Powerhoop and Toning at 8pm. Everyone welcome. Only booking required is Powerhoop for taking the correct amount of equipment with me. 2 NEW routines tonight for zumba.
The 290/291 service has started again from Tarves to Aberdeen. The bus route is now via Cairnbrogie crossroads to avoid the flooded section on the B999.
Tarves Councillor Paul Johnston got confirmation from Council Officials following a suggestion to re-route from the councillor.
