The Community Council are always keen to build on the present business base.
An area of land at the west end of Tarves has been designated for industry with basic infrastructure so that any interested business can be encouraged to develop. At the same time the Community Council have advocated low-cost advance workshop and office units to be established for rental.
The Community Council are in favour of farmers offering redundant farm buildings for rent to businesses and start-up companies.
